Graduate Handbook Image

The History Department's Graduate Handbook is the official source of information for graduate students in the department, including topics such as graduate committees, time limits, foreign language requirements, assistantships and fellowships, comprehensive exams, major and minor fields, and a myriad of other topics.  Graduate Students in the department should read the handbook at least once a semester and and refer to it often.

The Graduate Bulletin is the other essential source of information about general and degree requirements for graduate students.  Students are responsible for the requirements in the Graduate Bulletin in place when they entered the program.
