HCD 643 - Design and Development of Performance Improvement. 3 hrs. Mastery of core
competencies to develop and deliver training and engage learners.
HCD 660 - Foundations of Human Capital Development. 3 hrs. Examine theories, models,
interventions, and professional practice issues for improving workforce productivity.
HCD 675 - Research in Human Capital Development. 3 hrs. Analysis and evaluation of
current research in the field of human capital development.

current issues, developments, and concerns in education and the workforce. Analyze
theories related to instructional design and application of modern skills to teaching

implementation, and utilization of digital communication technology as it applies
to education and the workforce. Learn how to analyze, design and create online materials
to meet organizational objectives.
ITD 650 - Instructional Strategies of Online Teaching. 3 hrs. Discover and examine
multiple aspects of online teaching, distance learning models, instructional strategies,
and practical applications of emerging technology. Design, develop, and create online
learning modules with an LMS.
ITD 755 - Web Development and Assessment. 3 hrs. Introduction to practices associated
with web site development and assessment. Discover page layout techniques, styling
methods, coding practices, graphics, multimedia, accessibility issues, and testing
and maintenance methods.
ITD 780 - Seminar in Instructional Technology. 3 hrs. Examine specific issues related
to Instructional Technology that includes research developments, emerging technologies,
and other current trends in the field.
ITD 692 - Special Problems in IT. 1-6 hrs. Advanced individualized project relevant
to the student's skill specialty. Scholarly paper and instructional project on an
approved research topic or instructional problem.
ITD 697 - Independent Study and Research. 1-12 hrs. Hours arranged. Not to be counted
as credit toward degree. Students actively working on a dissertation, consulting with
the major professor, or using other resources for the university may enroll in this
