How to activate a Gaming, Smart TV or Mobile Device
- Open any Internet browser (i.e. Chrome, Internet Explorer, Firefox, or Edge). In the address bar type the following address: www.usm.edu/soar.
- Login to SOAR by entering your CampusID Username and Password in the appropriate boxes and select Sign In.
- Select on the NavBar icon in the upper right hand corner.
- Select the Navigator option.
- Navigate to the Self Service menu item.
- Select USM Self Service.
- Select Use.
- Select Activate Stdnt Gaming Device.
- You will see the following page:
- Make sure to read the Terms and then put a check mark in the box to accept them. Once
you have checked the box you will be given the option to insert your MAC Address of
your device.
Note: You are only allowed two devices.
- Once you have selected the type of device and entered its MAC Address, make sure to select at the bottom of the page.
