Alpha Kappa Psi Professional Business Fraternity is the oldest, largest, and most prestigious business fraternity in the world. It has been shaping people and business since its founding in 1904. AKPsi has been on USM's campus since 2002, and it continues to be the premier developer of business minded people on campus through community service, professional events, and campus involvement.

The American Marketing Association (AMA) is the professional association for individuals and organizations who are leading the practice, teaching, and development of marketing worldwide. The Southern Miss AMA chapter focuses on professional development, community service, and fundraising. Membership is open to all students with an interest in marketing. AMA members have the opportunity to gain valuable experience managing finances, people, projects, and deadlines.

American Society of Interior Designers Student Chapter | Not yet registered for 2016-2017
Southern Miss students are active members of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) Student Chapter, hosting and participating in numerous activities and fund raisers, as well as national and regional events. Formed in 1980 the ASID Student Chapter holds several meetings during the fall and spring semesters at the interior design studio.

Beta Alpha Psi is an honorary organization for Financial Information students and professionals. The primary objective of Beta Alpha Psi is to encourage and give recognition to scholastic and professional excellence in the business information field. This includes promoting the study and practice of accounting, finance, and information systems; providing opportunities for self-development, service, and association among members and practicing professionals, and encouraging a sense of ethical, social, and public responsibility. Beta Alpha Psi was founded in 1919. It is a national organization with 300 chapters on college and university campuses with over 300,000 members initiated since Beta Alpha Psi's formation.

Beta Gamma Sigma is the international honor society serving business programs accredited by AACSB International - The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. The Financial Management Association offers students an opportunity to be part of an exclusive network of finance professionals, practitioners, and students around the world.
