Alpha Kappa Psi Professional Business Fraternity

The Alpha Kappa Psi Professional Business Fraternity is the oldest, largest, and most prestigious business fraternity in the world. Since its founding in 1904, Alpha Kappa Psi strives to shape people and business by upholding its vision of continuously developing principled business leaders. The University of Southern Mississippi joined this esteemed brotherhood with the establishment of the Tau Omega Chapter in 2002 and upholds the fraternity's traditions and values through its workings of hosting professional events, community service, and additional campus and community outreach.

American Marketing Association 

The American Marketing Association (AMA) is the professional association for individuals and organizations who are leading the practice, teaching, and development of marketing worldwide. The Southern Miss AMA chapter focuses on professional development, community service, and fundraising. Membership is open to all students with an interest in marketing. AMA members have the opportunity to gain valuable experience managing finances, people, projects, and deadlines.

Beta Alpha Psi 

Beta Alpha Psi is an honorary organization for Financial Information students and professionals. The primary objective of Beta Alpha Psi is to encourage and give recognition to scholastic and professional excellence in the business information field. This includes promoting the study and practice of accounting, finance, and information systems; providing opportunities for self-development, service, and association among members and practicing professionals, and encouraging a sense of ethical, social, and public responsibility. Beta Alpha Psi was founded in 1919. It is a national organization with 300 chapters on college and university campuses with over 300,000 members initiated since Beta Alpha Psi's formation.

Beta Gamma Sigma 

Beta Gamma Sigma is the international honor society serving business programs accredited by AACSB International - The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. Membership in Beta Gamma Sigma is the highest recognition a business student anywhere in the world can receive in a business program accredited by AACSB International.

The Business Student Advisory Council is the liaison between the student body of The College of Business and the Deans office. It is made up of all disciplines and student groups housed within The College of Business.

Delta Sigma Pi 

Delta Sigma Pi prepares business students for successful professional careers, but also instills values of service and principled leadership that characterize Delta Sigs in all phases of life. With more than 260,000 initiates, our members make a difference in their workplaces and communities throughout the United States and around the world.

ESD was founded in 1978 as a means to show recognition to students for their academic achievement, meritorious service, and demonstrated professionalism in the hospitality and tourism field of study.

Fashion Merchandising Organization

The Fashion Merchandising Organization is a group that meets every other Tuesday to discuss relevant fashion topics. We plan on campus events and meet with guest speakers to find out more about the fashion industry.

Financial Management Association

The Financial Management Association offers students an opportunity to be part of an exclusive network of finance professionals, practitioners, and students around the world. Offering more value than virtually any other student organization, individual student membership with FMA provides resources for job searching, careers in finance, finance certifications, furthering education and networking.

Investment Club

The USM Investment Club will focus on introducing and teaching students about financial investing. With real money or mock accounts, a real-time portfolio is made for students to manage.

This is an academic organization for graduate and undergraduate students who are interested in the development of communities. The Student Economic Development Association associates with the Department of Economic Development and Tourism at the University of Southern Mississippi to promote an understanding of economic development, to sponsor on-campus educational seminars, and to affiliate with national professional organizations.
