Student Organization Policies

All student organizations on campus must follow policies and procedures below each year. These will be outlined for groups at Student Organization Orientation. All groups must send the organization president and one other officer to Orientation each fall before they can hold events on campus.   Please use this page as a guide and contact our office if you have any questions at lsi@usm.edu.

Student Organization Financial Statement

The Office of Leadership and Student Involvement does not offer student organizations support or assistance in regards to the handling of a groups’ individual finances. The University of Southern Mississippi does not require nor does it provide student organizations with an on-campus financial solution in regards to banking accounts. Student organizations are advised to consult with their individual advisors or departments for guidance on financial solutions.
