There are several ongoing seminar series of interest to Chemistry and Biochemistry.
Each fall and spring, chemistry and biochemistry hosts a series of seminars by outside speakers on Friday afternoon at 1:30 p.m., normally in TEC 106. Refreshments are served prior to the seminar. Dr. Vijay Rangachari is the present seminar coordinator.
Graduate Student Seminar Fall 2019-Spring 2020
Graduate students in chemistry and biochemistry are required to make a public presentation of their research each year. These often include prospectus, thesis, or dissertation defenses. Thursday afternoons at 3:00 p.m. are set aside for these seminars, usually in TEC 411 or TEC 106. Everyone in the unit is strongly encouraged to attend these seminars to learn about ongoing research and to support the students.
