Bio
Deepak Kumar’s research interests are to understand different factors of vector competence in ticks. His long-term goal is to dissect the mechanism of vector competence regulation in ticks, and to find specific targets for vaccination. Kumar is using different approaches including RNA interference, tick oxidative stress, endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress, microbiome and microRNA for above mentioned study.
