About the Violin Studio

Welcome to the homepage of the University of Southern Mississippi’s Violin Studio! It is an exciting time to be a violinist at Southern Miss, and we are thrilled that you are interested in joining us!

As a violinist at USM, you will have the opportunity to participate in the following activities within a supportive, yet challenging environment:


  • Weekly, individual lessons

Lessons provide personalized training, focusing on your development as a violinist and musician.  As a teacher, I strive to foster an environment that champions curiosity and enthusiasm; within these weekly lessons, we will delve into technical foundations, sound production, intonation, and musical phrasing. Discoveries never cease!
