All-South Marching Band Day

SEPTEMBER 30

12 NOON     All-South Marching Band Check-In @ Payne Center
1 p.m.            Rehearsal with Pride of Mississippi @ PRIDE Field
2 p.m.            Dismissal of rehearsal with Pride of Mississippi
3 p.m.            Last Music Rehearsal/Run Through with Pride of Mississippi @ Bennett Auditorium
3:15 p.m.       Meal Served (Location TBD)
4 p.m.            Watch the Eagle Walk (if you would like)
4 20 p.m.       Report to Bennett Auditorium
4:40 p.m.       Move to Stadium (as a group)
5:40 p.m.       Pride of Mississippi Pre-Game Performance
6 p.m.            KICK OFF
7:45 p.m.       Approximate Halftime performance with Pride of Mississippi
9:30 p.m.       Approximate end of game - Enjoy 5th Quarter Performance of Pride of Mississippi

Music
Music will be made available for download online by September 1.

Participant Cost
The registration fee for participation in the All-South Marching Band is $45 and includes a shirt, your game day ticket, and your meal. Register and pay online (no on site registration/payment) usm.edu/band.

Attire
All-South Marching Band shirts will be provided at check-in. Please wear khaki shorts and tennis shoes. Dancers should wear performance uniforms and bring black shorts and light-colored tennis shoes.

Items to Bring
Instrument or equipment (you MUST provide your own instrument - including drum line participants); Flip folder and lyre; rain poncho (we will perform rain or shine); additional money for concession items (snacks, water); ball cap; sunscreen; water for rehearsal

Friends/Family Tickets
$15 for upper level and $24 for lower level may be purchased through the Southern Miss Ticket Office. Contact Calleagh Brown in the ticket office - (601)266-4559 or Calleagh.Brown@usm.edu.We suggest purchasing tickets on the west side of the stadium. 

Chaperone Tickets
Chaperone passes will be made available for $10 each. A chaperone is considered as one adult for every 10 students. Band directors are encouraged to attend as chaperones with their bands. Chaperone tickets must also be purchased in advance and online — no on-site purchasing. Please let us know as far in advance as possible the number of chaperones who will be accompanying your group.

Firm Registration Deadline
The deadline to register is September 15 at 11:30 p.m. No on-site registrations is available.
