Greeting from The University of Southern Mississippi!

We had an extremely large number of online auditions submitted by students from several states, and we feel that this year’s All-South Band weekend will be the best ever.  Attached to this email is the list of accepted students (receipt of this email does not necessarily mean acceptance).  Please review the list carefully.  All instruments are listed EXCEPT alto saxophone.  Those results will be added to this list by 1/23/2018.

Registration for the Honor Bands will be held on Friday, February 2nd, in the Mannoni Performing Arts Center Lobby, from 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.  Auditions for chairs will take place simultaneously from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. The registration fee is $90.00. Your registration fee is due by Sunday, January 28th at 11:00p.m. and must be paid in advance and online. With this letter, you will find a confirmation form to return with your registration fee.  In addition, a list of hotels is included with Red Lion Inn serving as our primary hotel (601.264.8080). If you choose to stay there, please mention block code All-South Honor Band when making the reservation.

Final registration and payment must be done through our online system (the link can be found below).  If you are a band director paying for a group and are unable to use a school purchasing or credit card, please contact the band office so that we can generate a code allowing you to complete final registration for your students.
