Alexander Receives Officer Commission through Army ROTC

Sheequita Alexander of Prentiss, Miss. recently received a second lieutenant commission into the U.S. Army after completing the Army Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) program at The University of Southern Mississippi. ROTC helps train college students to become an officer in a branch of the U.S. military.

Alexander is the daughter of Michael Baker of Oakvale, Miss. and Lora Baggett of Prentiss. Her first assignment with the U.S. Army will be at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas.
