Holiday Book Preview Focuses on Children's Literature Nov. 7-8

Teachers, parents, grandparents, youth and other fans of children's literature can get a sneak peek at the latest in children's literature Nov. 7-8 when The University of Southern Mississippi's de Grummond Children's Literature Collection hosts its annual Holiday Book Preview.
Copies of upcoming books provided by publishers will be available for viewing at the event, to be held in the de Grummond Children's Literature Exhibit Room Sunday, Nov. 7 from 1-5 p.m. and Monday, Nov. 8 from 9 .a.m. to 6 p.m. The exhibit room is located on the second floor of Cook Library. Free posters, bookmarks, stickers and catalogs will be available.
The popular event is an opportunity for school librarians to get ideas for additions to their collection of titles and new resources for their teachers. For parents and grandparents, it's a chance to get some great ideas for holiday gifts.
