Katrina Research Center to Host Free Genealogy Workshop Nov. 20

The Katrina Research Center at The University of Southern Mississippi Gulf Coast will host a free African-American Genealogy Workshop Saturday, Nov. 20, from 10 a.m. – 4:15 p.m. in room 203 of the Gulf Park campus library in Long Beach.
The workshop, taught by Ann Anderson and Joyce Griffith of the Ocean Springs Genealogical Society, will provide instruction on how to conduct basic genealogical research as well as researching free people of color and slave ancestors.
