Southern Miss to Hold 100 Years Athletics Gala on Nov. 2 at Convention Center

As part of the 100 Years of Championships and Commencements celebration, Southern Miss will hold The 100 Years Gala on Friday, Nov. 2, at the Lake Terrace Convention Center in Hattiesburg.

The event will begin at 6 p.m. with a social hour and continue until 10 p.m. The highlights of this once in a lifetime event are a reception, dinner, a silent auction, round table discussion with the Voice of the Golden Eagles, John Cox, along with several Golden Eagle Legends. Also the athletic department will unveil the top 5 moments in Southern  Miss Football history via a short video presentation highlighting each milestone and event.  

“We wanted to put together a special event in conjunction with our 100 years celebration and we are looking forward to this special night that will encompass the first 100 years of Southern Miss,” said Director of Athletics Jeff Hammond. “We are looking forward to having many of our living legends return and it should be a great night for Golden Eagle fans before our game against UAB the following day.”

The price of the gala is $200 per couple, $150 for an individual and $2,000 for a reserved table of eight.
