Thomas Brown, President of Magnolia State Bank, has generously decided to purchase 1,000 student tickets for the Southern Miss NIT quarterfinal contest Wednesday night against BYU. Game time is set for 7 p.m., at Reed Green Coliseum.

The tickets will be distributed to the first 1,000 students who show a valid Southern Miss ID at the student entrance (West Gate) to Reed Green Coliseum on Wednesday evening. Students may begin lining up for the tickets at 5:30 p.m., with doors scheduled to open at 6 p.m., one hour prior to tipoff.  Once those tickets are given away, students will need to pay $5 at the ticket office.

The Golden Eagles enter the game with a 27-9 record. The win total is tied for the second most in a season in the school's history. BYU comes to Reed Green Coliseum with a 23-11 mark. The winner of the game secures one of four spots in the semifinals at Madison Square Garden next week in New York City.
