Application Deadline Approaching for Masters in School Counseling, Guidance Services Program at Gulf Park

The Department of Educational Leadership and School Counseling at The University of Southern Mississippi is accepting applications for admission into the fall 2014 master of education in school counseling and guidance services degree program offered at the university's Gulf Park campus in Long Beach.

The deadline for applications into the fall 2014 cohort is July 18. Admittance into the Gulf Park campus cohort is only offered during the fall semester each year.

Designed for entry-level preparation in professional school guidance counseling, the program requires 36 credit hours and can be completed in five semesters, which includes a one-year internship. Classes are conducted in a hybrid format, which allows students to complete coursework both online and in the classroom.
