Southern Miss to Host Free Webinar: Logistics within the Mississippi National Guard

The University of Southern Mississippi's Center for Logistics, Trade and Transportation (CLTT), in collaboration with the 184th Sustainment Command, will present a free webinar “Logistics within the Mississippi National Guard” at 9 a.m. on Thursday, June 5.

The webinar will provide participants with information on the highly-skilled and trained logistics professionals within the Mississippi National Guard. The webinar will also provide information on opportunities for private sector businesses to serve as contractors/vendors in support of the Mississippi National Guard's

Colonel John (Mark) Prine will serve as the keynote speaker. Prine is Deputy Commanding Officer, 184th Expeditionary Sustainment Command and a member the Board of Directors of the CLTT.

The 184th Sustainment Command, headquartered in Laurel, Miss., with a detachment in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, is a senior Army logistics unit with a rich history of service to Mississippi and the United States of America.

Camp Shelby Joint Forces Training Center (CSJFTC) is a training site located in Hattiesburg, Miss.  The CSJFTC trains not only for the Reserve Components of the Army, but also for the Active Components of the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, and Air Force.

The CLTT provides a competitive advantage to logistics and supply chain industry and government agencies through its multidisciplinary activities in Logistics, Trade and Transportation. The CLTT offers an online Master of Science, applied research activities and networking events.

The webinar is free of charge but spaces are limited and registration is required.
