Southern Miss Faculty Members Nominated for Gulf Coast Woman of Year

Dr. Cyndi Gaudet and Dr. Heather Annulis, faculty members at The University of Southern Mississippi's Gulf Park campus, are among 40 finalists selected by Gulf Coast Woman magazine for its 2015 Woman of the Year Award.

Gaudet is a professor and director of the Human Capital Development program at the Gulf Park campus in Long Beach. Annulis is a professor in the Human Capital Development program.

The judges will select one winner in each of the seven categories: Medical, Nonprofit, Corporate, Government/Military, Education, Entrepreneur, and Young Careerist (ages 21-35). From these winners, a Woman of the Year will be named.

In addition this year, Lighthouse Business & Professional Women will recognize a Member of the Year and Volunteer of the Year. To be considered for an award, nominees must have had 10 years of work experience in her most recent career field; live and/or work in Jackson, Harrison or Hancock County; and demonstrate excellence and leadership in her career field.
