The College of Business at The University of Southern Mississippi's Gulf Park campus will launch a new “Lunch and Learn” series from 12:15-1 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 29 in Room 104 of the Fleming Education Center.

The series is designed for students, faculty, staff and Business Advisory Council (BAC) Coast members as a way BAC members to interact with business students on the Gulf Park campus and share their experiences in business.

The guest speaker will be Frank Wilem, co-founder and CEO of Triton Systems, Inc., and CEO of The Wilem Group. Wilem, a BAC member, earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering at Texas A&M and a masters in Ocean Engineering from the University of Miami. He worked in the research and development company of two Fortune 500 companies before joining Computer Sciences Corporation at NASA's Stennis Space Center.

Wilem left the job at Stennis to become founder of Triton Systems, Inc., a $100 million company that became the nation's largest manufacturer of automatic teller machines. Today, the Gulfport resident, serves as CEO of The Wilem Group, an outdoors television production and distribution company.

The event is sponsored by Joe Boardman and lunch will be provided. To reserve a spot, contact Heather Adams Sison at h.l.adamsFREEMississippi
