Wiest Presents Veterans Day Program to Simpson County VFW

Dr. Andrew Wiest, professor of history and founding director of The University of Southern Mississippi's Dale Center for the Study of War and Society, gave a talk at the Simpson County VFW Post 9122 on Nov. 11 in conjunction with Veterans Day. Wiest discussed the impact of the Vietnam War on soliders and their families, based in part on his book "The Boys of '67: Charlie Company's War in Vietnam."
