On Monday, April 10, The University of Southern Mississippi Gulf Park Campus hosted an art reveal and signing, featuring Gulf Coast artist Elizabeth Huffmaster.

For seven years, Huffmaster has been commissioned by the University's Gulf Park campus to create a commemorative artwork that represents the annual Southern Miss Jazz and Blues Festival, which will be held Saturday, April 15, on the South Lawn of the Gulf Park campus from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The commemorative painting will be featured on T-shirts and signed posters available for purchase at the festival.

Huffmaster is from Saucier, Miss., where she paints in her home studio for four to eight hours a day. She is a children's book illustrator and is featured in art galleries, participates in art festivals and maintains commissions.
