Students Elected for Student Government Association at Gulf Park Campus

Students at The University of Southern Mississippi Gulf Park Campus recently elected a new assembly of peers for offices within the Student Government Association (SGA) on the Gulf Park campus in Long Beach. The students will assume their posts in late April.

Students at The University of Southern Mississippi Gulf Park Campus recently elected a new assembly of peers for offices within the Student Government Association (SGA) on the Gulf Park campus in Long Beach. The students will assume their posts in late April.  

The 2017-18 SGA executive officers include:

* President – Kaytlin Dorris, senior tourism management major, Bay St. Louis

* Vice President – Casey Baker, junior biology major, Olive Branch

* Attorney General – Jordan Roberts, senior political science major, Biloxi

* Secretary – Jennifer Balcazar, senior allied health major, Manhattan, N.Y.

* Treasurer – Teneala Spencer, junior computer science major, Gulfport

* Activities Chair – Julie Ivic, senior business administration major, Belgrade, Serbia

* Equality Chair – Adam Terrell, junior geography major, Gulfport

Representatives for the University's various colleges include:

* College of Science and Technology Representative – Veronica White, junior geography major, Gulfport, Miss.

* College of Health Representative – Jamie Norwood, senior social work major, Gulfport

* College of Business Representative – Jayne Jackson, senior marketing major, Mauii, Hawaii

* College of Nursing Representatives – Amy Cuthell, junior nursing major, Ocean Springs; and Emily Stivender, senior nursing major, Gulfport

* College of Education and Psychology – Tiffiney Jones, senior psychology major, Moss Point

* Graduate Representative: Evelyn Sullivan, graduate student of social work, Gulfport

* College of Arts and Letters representative will be selected at a later date.
