USM School Psychology Program Earns Prestigious Credential

Graduate students in The University of Southern Mississippi's (USM) School Psychology program can now pursue the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) designation, after the program's coursework met the approval of the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) in fulfilling its criteria for Verified Course Sequence (VCS) status.

The BACB is responsible for the national certification of behavior analysts (i.e., board certified behavior analysts; BCBAs). It creates standards for certification, including specific content to be covered in relevant coursework and standards for supervised practice.

The University of Southern Mississippi will hold its Fall 2018 Commencement ceremonies today at Reed Green Coliseum in Hattiesburg. This will include candidates for graduation from the Gulf Park campus in Long Beach. Degrees will be awarded at the following times:

-9 a.m. – College of Arts & Sciences and College of Nursing & Health Professions

-3 p.m. – College of Business & Economic Development and College of Education & Human Sciences
