USM Fall Commencement Set for Friday

The University of Southern Mississippi will hold its Fall 2018 Commencement ceremonies on Friday, Dec. 7 at Reed Green Coliseum in Hattiesburg. This will include candidates for graduation from the Gulf Park campus in Long Beach. Degrees will be awarded at the following times:

-9 a.m. – College of Arts & Sciences and College of Nursing & Health Professions

-3 p.m. – College of Business & Economic Development and College of Education & Human Sciences

USM's National Center for Spectator Sports Safety and Security Signs International Training Agreement in Advance of 2022 World Cup

During the Milipol Qatar 2018 Exhibition on October 29-31, 2018, the The University of Southern Mississippi's National Center for Spectator Sports Safety and Security (NCS4) and INTERPOL, signed a training cooperation agreement with the State of Qatar, represented by the Security Committee of the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy. The 2022 FIFA World Cup™ will take place in Qatar beginning November 21 and attract approximately 1.4 million visitors including 32 nations, and will take place over 64 games within 8 different stadiums.

Psychology Undergraduates Receive Funding to Attend National Conference

Two University of Southern Mississippi (USM) School of Psychology students will attend a national conference in the spring with support from the school's Drapeau Center for Undergraduate Research.
