Tri Delta's Support of St. Jude Hospital Tops $86,000 for 2017-2018
The Phi Epsilon chapter of Delta Delta Delta (Tri Delta) at The University of Southern Mississippi raised more than $86,000 during the fundraising cycle of July 2017- July 2018 for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, its longtime charity and service beneficiary.
Founded in 1962, St. Jude Hospital specializes in the treatment and research of catastrophic illnesses affecting children. The Phi Epsilon Chapter was named Overall St. Jude Chapter of the Year in 2016, the highest philanthropy award that can be bestowed upon a chapter.

Southern Miss Alumni Association to Host Eagle Landing Tailgates
The University of Southern Mississippi Alumni Association is excited to announce four Eagle Landing tailgate locations for the 2018 Golden Eagle football season. In conjunction with the Eagle Club, the Alumni Association will host Eagle Landing tailgates prior to away football games in Auburn, Ala.; Denton, Texas; Charlotte, N.C.; and Birmingham, Ala.
Mississippi Home of Your Own (HOYO) will sponsor a free, one-day homebuyer education workshop Wednesday, Aug. 22, for any residents in Harrison and surrounding counties interested in buying a home. The workshop will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the briefing room of the Mississippi Regional Housing Authority VIII at 10430 Three Rivers Road in Gulfport.
