David Lee to Serve as 2018 Southern Miss Coca-Cola Classic Rodeo Grand Marshal

David Lee, owner and CEO of Service Master Cleaning Alternatives, will serve as grand marshal for the 33rd Annual Southern Miss Coca-Cola Classic Rodeo set for Feb. 16-17 at the James Lynn Cartlidge Forrest County Multi-Purpose Center.

Lee graduated in 1972 from Petal High School and attended Jones Jr. College. He began his career in the oil and gas industry, where he worked for 20 years while starting his own company, David Lee Enterprises, in 1988 and began his first business with ServiceMaster Clean.

In his first year as a ServiceMaster Clean franchisee, Lee was named “Rookie of the Year” for the entire organization. He has served on the ServiceMaster Clean “National Contract Service Counsel” and has won the ServiceMaster Clean “High Achievement Award” 10 times.

Lee is also the owner and founder of ExpressTime Solutions, a company that develops software to provide automated timekeeping, building inspections, customer communication, maintenance needs and history as well as accounting functions for businesses. The software is used in all 50 states, Canada, England and the Caribbean.

Lee attends Turning Pointe Church in Petal, Miss, where he serves on the Leadership Team, Finance Team, Children's Department and is a Small Group Leader. He has also served on the Petal Separate School District School Board and is a member of the John Maxwell Team.

He completed the Dale Carnegie Training and was voted by his peers to receive the “Highest Award for Achievement” honor.

Lee has been married to Demaris Lee for 43 years. Together they have two children, Anthony Lee and Brian Lee and 5 granddaughters.

Comedian Lecile Harris, six-time professional rodeo Clown of the Year, will serve as the special guest rodeo entertainer for this year's event.

Tickets are on sale now at Boot Country on U.S. Highway 49 and Hub City West Farm and Garden on Pioneer Road in Hattiesburg. Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 after February 15. Starting February 16, tickets will be sold at the Forrest County Multi-Purpose Center beginning at 8 a.m. All seats are chair back and reserved.
