Nutrition Education Workshop to be Held in Greenwood for People with Disabilities and Their Families

The University of Southern Mississippi Institute for Disability Studies is hosting a free nutrition education workshop for people with disabilities and their families in the Greenwood on Wednesday, March 28. The Nutrition is for Everyone workshop will be held in the conference room at the Greenwood Leflore Hospital at 1401 River Road in Greenwood at 1 p.m.
The education session will focus on eating more fruits and vegetables and cooking more meals at home. LaShaundrea Crook, MS, RD, LD, will lead the workshop. Information will also be shared on shopping on a budget and including activity as a part of participants' daily lives.
