SPECIFICS: USM polymer science doctoral student Witold Fuchs has been working on new materials in collaboration with NASA, and some of these materials are scheduled to go up for testing on the International Space Station. Fuchs will be available to discuss the nature of his research efforts in a laboratory setting at the Thames Polymer Science Research Center.
