With 100 percent placement for USM students in the Master of Professional Accountancy Program, “Meet the Firms” offers that first opportunity for students to begin the career development process.
Those attending included firm and company representatives, current accounting students, Southern Miss accounting alumni, faculty members, and staff.
“The School of Accountancy at Southern Miss is committed to student success, and ‘Meet
the Firms’ is our flagship event designed to provide professional networking opportunities
for our accounting students to connect with future employers,” said Dr. Amber Hatten,

our students and are excited about the opportunities available to them through these internships

“Meet the Firms is a great networking opportunity for our students because they are able to interact with representatives from a wide range of companies. Additionally, it is an excellent opportunity for our faculty to meet with their former students,” said Dr. Marvin Bouillon, Director of the School of Accountancy. “Many people have made this a success.
