USM School of Psychology Honors Students with Awards

Four University of Southern Mississippi (USM) School of Psychology students were honored recently with awards recognizing achievements in research, leadership and service. The awards are presented annually in the spring semester by the school.

The students and their recognition include the following:

*Outstanding Junior: Ashley Funkhouser of Gulfport, Mississippi

*Outstanding Senior: Tiara Watson of Grenada, Mississippi

*Outstanding Undergraduate Research: Ashley Funkhouser

*Outstanding Graduate Research: Brian Bauer of Lake Oswego, Oregon

“We could not be more proud of our stellar undergraduate and graduate students. Each brings so much to the School of Psychology and to their respective programs and research labs,” Dr. Joe Olmi, professor and director of the USM School of Psychology. “It makes our jobs so much easier when we have such wonderful students with which to work.”
