USM brings The Three Muskateers to life in stage production set for later this month.

From the novel by Alexander Dumas and adapted by Ken Ludwig, the University of Southern Mississippi (USM) is set to perform The Three Musketeers on March 28-31 in the Martha R. Tatum Theatre on the Hattiesburg campus. Performances will be on March 28, 29, and 30 at 7:30 p.m. and on March 30 and 31 at 2 p.m.

The Three Musketeers is a classic tale that is filled to the brim with heroic acts, treachery, daring escapes, and righteousness. Set in 1625, the story is told through D'Artagnan's adventures with the famous musketeers Athos, Porthos, and Aramis as they all band together in the name of justice.

β€œ[It's a] slick, swashbuckling romp that cleverly updates the Dumas novel,” stated The Guardian in a review. β€œKen Ludwig's new version of the story simply refreshes it, distilling its energy and strengthening its timeless appeal.”

Price of admission is $15 for the general public; $10 for faculty, staff, seniors, military; and $8 for students. Tickets are available at the door and at www.southernmisstickets.com.
