The University of Southern Mississippi’s (USM) Division of Student Affairs will present a brown bag professional development opportunity Thursday, Nov. 19 at noon in the Thad Cochran Center when it hosts, via Zoom, Dr. Kevin Kruger, president of the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA). This event is open to all members of the USM community.
Dr. Kruger, who has led NASPA since 2012 and has more than 40 years of experience in the field, will discuss trends in higher education and moving forward from the pandemic. Attendees are invited to bring their lunch and hear Kruger’s thoughts on these topics. A brief Q&A session will follow.
In lieu of a ticket/registration fee for this event, participants will be asked for a donation to support the American Heart Association’s Forrest/Lamar Heart Walk efforts. Because of Covid-19 event guidelines, an RSVP is requested by email to dennis.bubrigFREEMississippi. However, walk-ups will be accepted until the venue is full.
For questions, contact USM Associate Vice President for Student Affairs Dr. Denny Bubrig at dennis.bubrigFREEMississippi, or call 601.266.5767.
