Naghshpour Authors Paper on Exchange Rate Volatility and Imports Demand in Iran

Dr. Shahdad Naghshpour, professor of international development at The University of Southern Mississippi Gulf Park campus, recently authored the paper, “Exchange Rate Volatility and Imports Demand for the Islamic Republic of Iran,” which will be published by Inderscience Publishers.

Naghshpour’s paper provides an analysis of imports demand for Iran. Using time series methods, Naghshpour determined imports demand with the idea of capturing and accounting for volatility of real effective exchange rate.
