The University of Southern Mississippi Psychology Club is a student run organization that was formed to provide students a place to connect and participate in activities related to psychology. Psychology club meetings are generally held once a month in Fall and Spring semesters. Meetings include presentations on topics related to psychology and graduate school preparation. Additionally, meetings serve as a time to get students involved in volunteer and fundraising activities on campus and in the Hattiesburg community. There are also opportunities for students to learn leadership skills by serving as one of our club officers, which are elected each school year.
Psychology has done a lot of fun stuff over the past few years including: Black & Gold Day, USM Homecoming activities, bake sales at Live@5 to raise funds for the Pink Ribbon Fun, Toys for Tots, and social event at Mug Shots. Come join the fun!
