Undergraduate Programs in Psychology

The School of Psychology offers both a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Science degree option at the undergraduate level.

To earn an undergraduate degree in psychology, students must fulfill requirements of The University of Southern Mississippi and the School of Psychology. A total of 124 hours with a cumulative GPA of 2.0 are needed to graduate. At least 62 hours must be earned from a senior college and 45 of these hours must be in courses numbered 300 or 400. The last 32 hours of course work must be earned from The University of Southern Mississippi. The student must earn at least 12 hours in the major area of study from The University of Southern Mississippi.
