PBIS Supports for Elementary Students with Severe Disabilities

This one-day training provides participants the opportunity to learn how to create an engaging learning environment for students with significant cognitive disabilities in which all students can access information. Components discussed will include structuring the classroom, developing a daily schedule, implementing appropriate transitions, and creating a reinforcement and consequence schedule. Participants will also receive basic information on implementing Universal Design for Learning inside the learning environment. This session will provide information specific to early childhood and elementary classrooms. Please bring a copy of your daily schedule and your reinforcement and consequence schedule (if you have one).

This one-day training provides participants the opportunity to learn how to create an engaging learning environment for students with significant cognitive disabilities in which all students can access information. Please bring a copy of your daily schedule/a student’s daily schedule and your reinforcement and consequence schedule (if you have one).
