My work focuses on language usage in the teaching of vocal pedagogy and choral pedagogy. In short, I look at pedagogic techniques that are intended to "make the voice tactile." I have presented on topics such as best practices in music education pedagogy, using imagery, metaphor, and motion as a pedagogic tool, and the effect of medications on the human voice.
