Mission: To empower, strengthen, and promote the wellbeing of children and their biological or foster families through family-centered practice strategies that strengthen family functioning, minimize emotional disturbances, and prevent placement disruptions.

The Family Counseling Center's target population is children, ages birth-18, and families in Mississippi foster care system who are Medicaid eligible.

Directions: From USM, go east on Hardy Street. Pass the Hattiesburg Public Library on left. Turn right on West Pine Street. Turn left on 6 th Ave. Cross railroad tracks and 6 th will turn into Hall Ave. Stay on Hall until you cross the railroad tracks again. In the curve turn left on Alcorn Avenue. Pass Forrest County Juvenile Center. Turn left at ‘road closed’ sign. Family Network Partnership office is on the right across from Forrest County Work Release Center.
