Clinical instructor and Speech-Language Pathology Clinic Coordinator

Mrs. Lebert has been employed with the University of Southern Mississippi since 2008. She currently serves as the Speech Pathology Clinic Director. She was previously employed with the Biloxi Public Schools from 2001-2008. Mrs. Lebert teaches two undergraduate courses: Speech Sound Disorders and Clinical Assisting. In addition, she also teaches the graduate Clinical Practicum course in which she supervises graduate students during their on-campus clinic practicum.

Mrs. Lebert serves on numerous committees in the Speech and Hearing Sciences Department and chairs Graduate Admissions Committee. She received her B.S and M.S degrees in Speech Language Pathology from the University of South Alabama in 1998 and 2001. She has been a consultant with South Mississippi Regional Center since 2006 and was PRN Speech-Language Pathologist for Amedisys Home Health from 2011-2018.

Mrs. Lebert has also authored 12 grants during her career and has presented her research at both the state and national level. She also is involved with a myriad of professional activities. She is currently serving a 4-year term as an ASHA CAA Site Visitor. In addition, she has served MSHA in the following capacities: President 2018, President-Elect 2017, Conference Chair 2017, Co Conference Chair 2016, Conference Chair 2015, Co Conference Chair 2014, Honors Chair 2010-2011, Co Conference Chair 2011, Vice President of School Issues 2007-2009. She has one son who graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2015.
