CCE Presents ASB Social Convos: Juvenile Justice and Mass Incarceration

Alternative Service Break introduces an in-depth conversation addressing the racial and ethnic disparities of minority youths in our justice system and how data can be used against and for these communities. At Southern Miss we want to engage, educate and create awareness about how to improve your overall health and wellness. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have decided to make our annual Fall Wellness Fair virtual. You will find information on health education, healthcare services, fitness, mental health and other wellness topics. We encourage you to check out the videos submitted by vendors from campus and the Hattiesburg area.

Flu Boo
Moffit Health Center

We will host our annual Flu Boo on October 30th! We encourage students, faculty, and staff members to stop by the clinic for their annual flu shot. CCE Angel Tree

CCE partners with the Salvation Army's Angel Tree program every year to ensure that children from low-income families still receive gifts under the tree for the holidays. Visit CCE’s Office in Hub 104 to see our "Angel" Tree and adopt your own angel, which comes with the first name, age, gender and wish list of a child in need. Bring your unwrapped present back to the CCE office by November 20 so that we can ensure your gift makes it to your child in time for the holidays.

Civilian opportunities are widening for veterans. Career Services is a great resource to assist veterans with specialized resumes, cover letters, preparing for interviews and internship/job search strategies.

Spring 2021 Barnes & Noble Textbook Scholarship Opens

The Center for Student Success awards textbook scholarship funds every semester. To be eligible for funds an applicant must be a full-time, undergraduate student at The University of Southern Mississippi on either the Hattiesburg or Gulf Park campus. Priority is given to students with high unmet financial need as indicated by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Visit The Center for Student Success website for more information!
