From battlefields to baguettes, come and journey with us to explore two of the most important battlefields of the modern age and two of the greatest cities of Europe.
We will visit Ypres in Belgium – amid the Flanders fields and trenches of World War I and then the sacred sands of Normandy, walking in the footsteps of the greatest generation. We will also explore the history that lies at the heart of both London and Paris. Come and walk the battlefields; come and explore the cities of Churchill and Napoleon. Guided by the roving talks of Distinguished Professor of History, Andy Wiest, no stone shall be left unturned on this adventure through history.
In the evenings, venture out to discover gastronomic delights with Robert St. John, renowned chef and owner of many of Hattiesburg’s finest dining establishments. Follow him as he uses his extensive knowledge of the culinary arts and history to lead you to some of Europe’s best cafés, bars and bistros.
