IDEW 2017

International & Diversity Education Week (IDEW) 2017

What is IDEW?
International & Diversity Education Week (IDEW) is a combination of International Education Week (IEW) and Diversity Week.

International Education Week is an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. This joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education is part of our efforts to promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences in the United States.

Diversity Week is organized by the Office of Multicultural Programs & Services. It aims to highlight the diversity within the Southern Miss community and start the conversation on important current events & issues.

This year, IDEW will be from November 13-17. We look forward to celebrating and sharing cultures around campus!

Get Involved & Win Prizes!
During IDEW, you can pick up an IDEW passport. You will use this "passport" to earn stamps at the various IDEW events around campus. The more stamps you get the bigger the prize!! More details on prizes coming soon!
