Tell us your story in two minutes or less.

Sometimes words just don't do it justice, and photos only leave us wanting more. Why not put together the words, photos, and actual film (digital, of course) to create a video about your study abroad experience?

2015 Contest Overview

Any aspect of your time abroad may be considered subject matter: student life, the classroom, local culture, the community, history, you name it. We challenge you to represent life and learning on a Southern Miss program abroad and encourage you to be creative. Any genre is welcome - animation, film, video, photo montage, documentary, horror, abstract art, etc. Just keep it under two minutes!

Any student who has studied abroad on a Southern Miss program may participate. The video can use any audio/visual multimedia as long as the work is created for this contest and runs for two minutes or less. Subject matter should be original, relevant, and suitable for distribution. Best submissions will reflect your ability to express ideas and convey a message about what studying abroad means to you. Videos must be submitted online (see below) and in YouTube or Vimeo format.

How to Submit

All entries must be in a digital format, uploaded to YouTube or Vimeo. Please submit your entry using our online form.

Deadline for fall 2015 is TBA.
