“Money. Money. Money...MONEY!” Do you need help finding free money? Meet with a Southern Miss staff member and
get help completing the Foundation Scholarship application. You’ll also have a chance to discuss your loans and make sure you have enough to pay for school. 

Bring your FAFSA student ID and login information.

Discover what you can do with your future. Let’s examine the strength of your Major Connections. Attend the Major Connections fair for your opportunity to explore academic majors, meet with student ambassadors, and talk with professionals from Career Services. 

  

  • Studying Without Breaking a Sweat

Whether you’re a brand new freshman or a graduating senior, managing yourself with respect to time is a valuable skill. Cramming won’t get you far, so don’t sweat it! Find ways to organize your study sessions and make the most of your time. This session will include tips and strategies for managing your time, avoiding procrastination, and making the most of your study session.

  • Express your creativity with coloring books and puzzles.
  • Receive a stress ball.

Would you like to know more about academic integrity? Drop in for a workshop about the University’s new academic integrity policy and academic integrity in general. Participants will learn about the centrality of integrity to a scholarly community, the University’s definition of academic misconduct and the consequences for it, plagiarism as a form of academic misconduct, time management tips to avoid committing plagiarism under pressure, and proper citation practices

Do you have trouble juggling school, work and extracurricular activities? Join us for an interactive one-hour workshop on time management.

Participants will evaluate how they currently spend their time and learn various strategies and tools to help manage distractions and meet goals.
