The 2019 National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR) will be held in Kennesaw, GA., April 10-13. Approximately 4000 undergraduate students from around the country attend each year to share their scholarly and creative projects. The conference is open to all disciplines and welcomes presentations of students’ work in a variety of formats, including oral presentations, poster presentations, visual art exhibits, and theater, music and dance performances. In addition to the presentation symposia, there will be a graduate school fair, a variety of student interest sessions, and plenary speakers. The program for last spring’s conference may be found here.
The Drapeau Center for Undergraduate Research is pleased to support up to four Southern Miss students to present their work at NCUR 2019 (if accepted by the NCUR program committee). We will provide transportation (car or van to Kennesaw), and cover conference registration and housing (shared rooms).
Students who wish to be considered for sponsorship by the Drapeau Center should submit the application linked below by November 5, 2018. A panel of faculty reviewers will select the students who will receive DCUR support. Those students must then submit their abstracts to NCUR by December 4, 2018.
