Southern Miss Guitar Society
The Southern Miss Guitar Society is a university-recognized student organization. Its goal is to promote the art of the guitar through guest artist concerts, master classes, student performances and festivals.

Throughout the academic year, the Guitar Society holds exciting guitar-related events, regular meetings, and fundraisers, and it always welcomes new members.

National Band Association
The purpose of the Southern Miss student chapter of the National Band Association is to promote the excellence of band throughout the state, promote pride and enthusiasm in the band movement and to encourage interested students to pursue careers in music.

This student organization is geared to support music education majors at Southern Miss, as well as those interested in our profession.

Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia
Sinfonia is the largest music fraternity in the world, with more than 150,000 initiates and chapters on more than 200 college and university campuses across the nation.

Sinfonia was born on Oct. 6, 1898, at the New England Conservatory in Boston to create an organization in which men with a shared love of music could develop the virtues of manhood in themselves and in their fellows. It became a national fraternity two years later.

Sigma Alpha Iota – Kappa Epsilon
Sigma Alpha Iota (SAI) is an international fraternity for women who come together to enjoy the fellowship of music and to promote and develop music worldwide.

SAI was founded on June 12, 1903, at the University School of Music in Ann Arbor, Mich.
