Community Group Campus Tour Guidelines

About

Group tours for high-school aged students should be scheduled through Undergraduate Admissions.  If you want to schedule a campus visit for groups of high-school aged students, please contact Undergraduate Admissions at 601.266.1000 or visit Undergraduate Admissions for further assistance.

Tours of the Hattiesburg campus for community groups will be accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis for groups of no more than 80 individuals (including chaperones for participants younger than 18), dependent upon availability. During University breaks, including the summer semester, tour availablity will be limited. Guided tours on Saturday or Sunday can not be accomodated at this time.

All tours are approximately one hour in length. Guests will visit notable locations within the pedestrian-friendly heart of the Hattiesburg campus.

Chaperones

A minimum of one chaperone is required for every 20 students and/or guests under the age of 18. Chaperones must accompany the group and are expected to monitor the behavior of each student and/or guest during the entire campus visit.
