MEMORANDUM FOR Cadre and cadets, University of  Southern Mississippi

SUBJECT:  Policy Memorandum #10, Arranged Classes

1.  Arranged classes should be the exception rather than the rule and should be allowed only as a necessity rather than as a convenience.  This practice will allow the cadets to receive maximum benefit from interaction in the small group forum, will allow cadets to display loyalty and commitment to ROTC, and allow instructors to use their time to the benefit of most cadets and the overall program.

2.  In cases of necessity (for example nurse cadets), arranged classes will be coordinated between the cadet and the instructor.

3.  Cadets should anticipate a need for an arranged class prior to semester class sign up.  They should identify the request on their CC Form 104-R and schedule an appointment with the PMS to discuss their situation.  Arranged class requests for cadets who fail to do this planning will be received with more scrutiny than those who exercise this foresight.
