Ms. Kim Bishop

MSII Instructor

Ms. Kimberly Bishop is a native of Seminary, MS.  She graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Coaching and Sports Administration.  Ms. Bishop entered the Army as a Simultaneous Membership Program cadet with the Reserve Officers Training Corp (ROTC) and Mississippi National Guard in 2003.  She served as such for two years before commissioning as a 2nd Lieutenant from USM. 

Her duty positions and assignments include Maintenance Control Officer, B Co 106th Support Battalion Camp Shelby, MS; Liaison Officer, 1st Infantry Division Detachment, Rear Operations Center (ROC) Bamberg, Germany; Mobility Officer, 1172nd Transportation Detachment, Movement Control Team (MCT) Bamberg, Germany; Commander, 1172nd Transportation Detachment (MCT) Bamberg, Germany; Logistics Officer, 209th Army Liaison Team Wiesbaden, Germany; and Transportation Officer, HQ 106th Brigade Support Battalion Monticello, MS.  Her overseas assignments include OIF (2007-2008) Baghdad, Iraq.  She is currently the Antiterrorism/Force Protection Officer and the MS II Instructor.

Ms. Bishop’s military education includes Ordnance Officer Basic Course, Army Combatives (Level 1), Security Manager Course, Unit Victim Advocate Course, Antiterrorism Officer Basic Course, USAREUR Company Commander Course, and Transportation Captain’s Career Course.

Her awards include: Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Army Reserve Component Achievement Medal, National Defense Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal (w/ campaign star), Army Service Ribbon, Army Overseas Service Ribbon, Army Reserve Component Overseas Training Ribbon (w/ numeral 2), and Armed Forces Reserve Medal (w/ “M” Device).
