The Big Event 2011 at Southern Miss

The Big Event 2011

The Big Event is the largest, one-day, student-run service project in the state of Mississippi where students and faculty of The University of Southern Mississippi come together to say “Thank You” to the residents of Hattiesburg.

The second annual Big Event will be held Saturday, April 2, 2011. The Student Government Association’s goal is to make this event a tradition where the students give back to the community that has so greatly blessed their university.

Come and show your appreciation to the Hattiesburg community by giving back to local charities and nonprofit organizations. If you or your organization would like to volunteer, please contact SGA at TheBigEvent@usm.edu.
