Graduate students play an active role in the
determination of departmental policies and practices
through participation in the departmental Graduate
Student Forum. The Forum organizes an annual symposium
which highlights graduate student research, sponsors
informal seminars within the Department, maintains the
Graduate Student Common Room, provides new graduate
students with orientation information, and keeps faculty
abreast of problems faced by graduate students.
